Meyers Kitchen

Providing the food for your days ahead in Copenhagen are Claus Meyer and Meyers Kitchen.

Claus Meyer is a gastronomic entrepreneur, chef and co-founder of the restaurant Noma. For more than 20 years, Claus Meyer has been pointing out shortcomings and possibilities within the Danish food culture – whether through food policy business, lectures, participation in the public food debate or his TV-programmes and cookbooks.

Meyers Madhus, founded by Claus Meyer in 1999, is a small food center in the heart of Copenhagen. Meyers Madhus is a center for cookery courses for children and adults, but also publishes cookbooks, provides culinary consulting and engages in research and food policy projects – among many other activities.

Meyers Kitchen is Claus Meyers catering firm, that creates and serves seasonal, well tasting food rooted in the values of the New Nordic Cuisine.

What to expect:

You are bound to work up an appetite.  So it will be our pleasure to provide you with fresh, healthy meals, snacks and refreshments for the duration of the conference.

Meals and snack will be served in an informal, relaxed atmosphere. With focus on the Nordic Style.

Lunches will for instance consist of small seasonal canapés and sandwiches. You will also explore the famous Meyers picnicbox with a variety of fresh dishes and tastings. The menus will reflect what’s best at the time from the fishmonger, the butcher and our vegetable-patches.

The varieties of bread served, including traditional Danish rye bread and whole grain wheat loaves, are made fresh from our own bakery with all organic flour and grain.

Direct trade coffee from Estate coffee and Kusmi tea will be available during the coffee breaks and bottles of mineral water and fresh organic apple juice will be available throughout the days.
